ดร.จริยา บัวเจริญ หัวหน้าฝ่ายมาตรวิทยามิติ สถาบันมาตรวิทยาแห่งชาติ (มว.) ในฐาน APMP DEC Future Proofing Task Force Lead จัดประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการเรื่อง “SI units: Practical realizations and how to assure measurement traceability” ในวันที่ 15, 17 และ 20 กันยายน 2564 โดยในกิจกรรมดังกล่าวได้มีการอัพเดตสถานะปัจจุบันของมาตรฐานการวัดในด้าน Metre, Kelvin และ Kilogram จากประเทศสมาชิก ได้แก่ จีน สิงคโปร์ ไต้หวัน อินเดีย อินโดนีเซีย กัมพูชา และประเทศไทย ในการนี้มีพนักงาน มว. นำเสนอสถานะปัจจุบันของมาตรฐานการวัด (Current status of the national measurement standard) ด้วย ได้แก่ ดร.นรินทร์ จันทวงศ์ และนายวศิน ลิ้มธัญลักษณ์ ฝ่ายมาตรวิทยามิติ นำเสนอด้าน Length measurement (Metre) ดร.อธิคม มาน้อย ฝ่ายมาตรวิทยาอุณหภูมิและแสง นำเสนอด้าน Temperature measurement (Kelvin) และ ดร.ชุติมณฑน์ สืบค้า ฝ่ายมาตรวิทยาเชิงกล นำเสนอด้าน Mass measurement (Kilogram) วัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ก็เพื่อพัฒนาความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศสมาชิกในด้านมาตรฐานการวัดภายในภูมิภาค ยกระดับความสามารถด้านมาตรวิทยาของประเทศสมาชิก และสร้างการยอมรับในระดับสากล สนับสนุนให้เกิดการสอบกลับได้ทางการวัดของประเทศสมาชิก และเพื่อให้มั่นใจว่า มาตรฐานการวัดภายในภูมิภาคสามารถสอบกลับได้ถึงนิยามของหน่วยวัดสากล (International System of Units หรือ SI Units) โดยการประชุมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นในแบบออนไลน์ ณ สถาบันมาตรวิทยาแห่งชาติ (มว.) จังหวัดปทุมธานี
