สถาบันมาตรวิทยาแห่งชาติ จัดสัมนาเชิงปฏิบัติการระหว่างประเทศของกลุ่ม Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP) ในหัวข้อ “The application of acoustic, vibration and ultrasound metrology in transportation industry” ในวันที่ 31 พ.ค.– 3 มิ.ย. 2559 ณ โรงแรมแมนดาริน กรุงเทพ โดย นายประยูร เชี่ยววัฒนา กล่าวเปิดงาน และบรรยายเกี่ยวกับความเป็นมาของสถาบันมาตรวิทยาแห่งชาติ ในช่วงเช้า และนอกจากนี้มีผู้เชี่ยวชาญในสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้อง มาบรรยายให้ความรู้ในหัวข้อต่างๆ โดยแบ่งการประชุมออกเป็น 4 กลุ่ม (4 Sessions) ได้แก่
Session 1 แบ่งหัวข้อการบรรยายออกเป็น 3 หัวข้อ ได้แก่
- The measurement of Pole and viaduct structural vibration induced by high speed train. บรรยายโดย Huang YU – จาก Industrial Technology Research Institute / Center for Measurement Standards.
- The urgent metrological needs in dynamic measurement of China High-Speed railway โดย Dr.Sun Qiao, National Institute of Metrology, China
- The Acoustics, Ultrasound and Vibration Metrology to support Thailand Railway Technology Development โดย นาย ดิสพล ผดุงกุล, นายกสมาคมวิศวกรรมระบบขนส่งรางไทย Thai Railway Engineering Association
Session 2 แบ่งหัวข้อการบรรยายออกเป็น 4 หัวข้อ ได้แก่

Session 3 แบ่งหัวข้อบรรยายออกเป็น 3 หัวข้อ ได้แก่

Session 4 แบ่งหัวข้อการบรรยายออกเป็น 4 หัวข้อ ได้แก่

- Performance and Quality Enhancement of Automotive Components by Utilizing Non-Contact Vibration Measurements by Laser Doppler Vibrometry โดย Johansmann Martin, and Mr. Chris Chia, Polytec GmbH Co.,Ltd., Germany
นอกจากนี้ได้มีการเข้าเยี่ยมชมในส่วนของ งานซ่อมบำรุง ของ บริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) และเยี่ยมชมบริษัท ระบบขนส่งมวลชนกรุงเทพ จำกัด (มหาชน) โดยวัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดประชุมและเยี่ยมชมในครั้งนี้ เพื่อเป็นการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ในเรื่องของ มาตรวิทยาเสียง การสั่นสะเทือน และคลื่นเหนือเสียง ระหว่างหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องในภูมิภาคเอเชีย ตลอดจนหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนภายในประเทศที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยมุ่งเน้นด้าน อุตสาหกรรมการขนส่ง เช่น ระบบรถราง และอุตสาหกรรมรถยนต์
